FTGS Code of Conduct

All participants shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. "Participants" are defined to include managers, coaches, players and spectators. Managers and coaches shall set a good example for the girls in their charge. The following is prohibited:

1) No smoking in the dugout or on the playing field.
2) No foul language.
3) No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall be admitted to the field.

Players are prohibited from:

1) Using abusive language towards managers, coaches, umpires, other players and spectators.
2) Refusing to obey manager/coaches' instructions.
3) Physically abusing other participants (e.g. - throwing bats or physical contact)

Spectators shall be prohibited from heckling or otherwise harassing players, managers, coaches, umpires or scorekeepers.

The Board of Directors and/or Umpire officiating the game, shall have the authority to take the following actions against the person or persons violating the aforementioned:

1) Warning for first offense.
2) Probation for second offense. (Duration based on offense.)
3) Suspension for period of time. (Duration based upon severity of offense.)
4) Based on severity of offense, the Board shall have authority to take any of the actions mentioned above directly without regard to sequence (i.e. immediate suspension may not be preceded with warning or probation if actions warranted). The offender will have the right to a hearing by full Board, if requested.
