Please take some time to read about one of our Franklin Township student athletes that was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor (pontine glioma) on Feb 10th. Kevin Massey, son of Dwain and Ruth Massey, is back at home after undergoing radiation treatments at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital back in February and March. Both Dwain and Ruth have been involved with the Softball League for many years as their daughter, Marissa, has grown up playing in the league.
All of our thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin and his family for a full and speedy recovery. Our league donated $1,000 to the Kevin Massey Fund that will help cover any costs associated with the high medical bills and other expenses related to this unexpected illness. Please consider helping the Massey family by donating to Kevin's fund.
